This line was formulated with the health of kids in mind, ages 10 through 99, to provide a healthy meal between snacks. Many adults enjoy this line for its 18-19 gram protein content and great taste. We've combined soy and whey protein, organic brown rice syrup, glycerin, fiber, nut butters, and candy pieces. The combination of soy and whey protein provides all of the essential amino acids which are the building blocks of healthy muscles, nails, skin and other connective tissue. Brown rice syrup and glycerin break down slower than simple sugar providing a steady stream of energy without significantly affecting blood sugar levels. We've added oat fiber, soy fiber, milled flaxseed, apple fiber, psyllium husk, and chicory root, (soluble fiber which can help reduce cholesterol and is a prebiotic aiding in good intestinal health), to assist in colon health.
